From our experience in the fields of education and coaching, we are fully aware of the importance of enjoyment and development of self-confidence and life skills in the process of learning. We believe that the rampancy and vibrancy of society often stops us from developing meaningful connections with ourselves and each other, forcing us to lose focus and, therefore, slowing the learning and self-developing process down.
With these ideas in mind, we have designed a series of vibrant and solid retreats in the amazing unspoiled coastal and mountainous area of North Wales that combine development through workshops on a specific skill, and the opportunity to disconnect from the rush of the world in an environment of warmth and real connections.
We aim to run truly authentic learning retreats in the beautiful, warm, and unspoiled surroundings of Snowdonia, in North West Wales
While working on their chosen skill, we want to invite participants to leave their comfort zone, free themselves of the pressures of society and develop meaningful relationships both with themselves and with others.
Our very experienced staff and tutors deliver activities that focus both on the importance of developing individual skills as well as group relationships and outcomes. In addition, the meetings led by our professional and skillful coordinators ensure that the participants gain the necessary skills to enhance and believe in their abilities so that they can learn, create and build connections that will encourage them to grow as understanding individuals in a multicultural world.
We know something special happens to a group of people when they live and work together without the distractions of the outer world. Because of this, we have chosen a remote venue that offers simple accommodation and full board where participants will live communally, share living spaces and will have opportunities to fully focus on the learning activities as well as having plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful mountainous and coastal surroundings.
Enhanced by the native local knowledge of our hosts, participants will have access to cultural tips that will enable them to feel comfortable within the local culture and make the retreat a unique, unforgettable and rounded experience, possibly one they have never experienced before. Furthermore, since the courses we offer are run by very experienced tutors, they are suitable both for native English speakers and for people who want to practice English as a second language through immersive activities. All those who attend will be encouraged to learn, create, make friends, and build relationships through opportunities to learn, unwind, reconnect and connect.
